Stranger Things Cast Reportedly Receiving Massive Payday for Final Season

The hit Netflix series Stranger Things is about to enter its fifth and final season. As the Duffer Brothers and their team are currently preparing for the show's epic conclusion that is set to start production this year, the cast also recently took part in negotiations for new contracts on the upcoming final installment.

A recent report from Puck revealed that the cast members of Stranger Things will be receiving a massive payday for the final season of the series. Each of them was placed in a certain tier which tells which amount they will get for their work on the final installment.

For the top tier, Winona Ryder and David Harbour, the two main adult cast members and veterans in the industry, will each be receiving $9.5 million for their work across all episodes of the final season.

For Tier 2, the main younger cast members Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, and Sadie Sink will each be receiving over $7 million for the show's final season. It's a huge bump compared to the very first season where they earned only around $25,000 per episode.

Tier 3 consists of the other main cast members such as Natalia Dyer, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, and Charlie Heaton aka the actors who played the teen/young adult characters. Each of them will be receiving over $6 million.

As for Tier 4, which consists of the other main cast members that were not mentioned above, the amount that they will receive wasn't disclosed but it will be lesser than the previous tiers.

The actor that wasn't mentioned in any of the top tiers is Millie Bobby Brown, who is not included in them since she has her own separate exclusive deal with Netflix. However, given her status in the series, we can easily assume that she will also be receiving a massive payday for her work in the final season.

Given the cast members' popularity as a result of their work on the series leading up to its final season, it is not surprising to hear the high amount that they will receive for their involvement in the final run and it is an indication of how big they have become in terms of stature ever since they became part of the series.
