Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is hitting theaters in less than a month. And since The Mandalorian coincides with the movie, there's a possibility that the film could tie in with the Disney+ series. After all, anything is possible in the Star Wars universe. And the latest TV spot may potentially prove just that.

A new TV spot titled "Fate" was recently released. Aside from the scenes previously shown in the other trailer, the teaser provided new clips as well. There was one scene that showed Kylo Ren, who seemed to have pierced a creature's stomach with his lightsaber. While the fight ensued, a Redditor pointed out that behind the Supreme Leader, yellow laser blasts could be seen. The clip was only shown for a moment at mark 0:13. However, fans would have to check the video frame-by-frame in order to clearly see it.

Red, green, and blue blaster bolts are usually seen used by the Empire and the Republic. That being said, yellow blaster bolts are rarely used by anyone and could be recognized by Star Wars fans as the color often associated with the Mandalorians.

The clip suggests that a battle between Kylo Ren and some Mandalorians could take place in the movie. However, since the film takes place roughly 30 years after the series, it could be just the fans' wishful thinking. But that doesn't mean we could rule out the possibility of having Mandalorians in The Rise of Skywalker. Some far weirder things took place in the Star Wars universe, so it wouldn't be entirely impossible for them to appear in Episode IX.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker premieres December 20. The Mandalorian is available to stream on Disney+.
