Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker Soundtrack Hints At Millennium Falcon's Heartbreaking Fate

We already know that Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will be the last film in the Skywalker Saga. But is it possible that something truly heartbreaking will happen in Episode IX? The soundtrack for the film has been leaked and it could mean that something depressing will happen to the Millennium Falcon.

The report comes from Express which reveals that the soundtrack for The Rise of Skywalker has been leaked. Sadly, one of the tracks may have been revealed and it has a bittersweet title: The Falcon's Last Ride.

It's a shocking revelation considering that people have been hoping that the Falcon would end up with Lando Calrissian again. After all, there had to be a good reason why Billy Dee Williams was brought back in Episode IX, right? Unfortunately, it sounds like the iconic ship could actually get destroyed in The Rise of Skywalker.

Of course, we're trying to be optimistic here. There's a chance that Lando will finally get the Falcon and they will both retire and grow old together in some lush planet where nobody will bother them. For now, let's hope that the last ride doesn't necessarily mean total destruction.

The Millennium Falcon has been part of the franchise from the start. It was the ship that brought Luke Skywalker out of Tatooine and became an important part of the Rebellion in the original trilogy. We even got to learn more about it in Solo: A Star Wars Story and were dismayed when its long-time captain Han Solo was killed. Although the Skywalker Saga will finally end, we're still hoping that the Falcon gets the ending it deserves.

What will happen to the Falcon? Find out when Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker hits theaters on December 20.
