People have been speculating about the Sith Troopers ever since the new villains were introduced right before San Diego Comic-Con last July. Are they working for Emperor Sheev Palpatine? Could they be a part of Darth Revan's secret army? However, new Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker merchandise has confirmed that these elite soldiers answer only to Kylo Ren.
StarWars.com has just unveiled some awesome new merchandise for Triple Force Friday and most of these new items are all about the Sith Troopers. Interestingly, one of the shirts features some new details about the new soldiers.
"The First Order Battalion. Only the finest troopers in the galaxy. Under the strict command of Kylo and the Knights of Ren," it reads. Take a look at the shirt here.
This certainly debunks all theories about who the Sith Troopers will be working for. In addition to that, it looks like Kylo Ren might continue to work with the Knights of Ren if they have control over the elite soldiers as well.
There have been speculations that Kylo will no longer be working with the Knights of Ren considering that he is shown attacking one of the Knights in the Rise of Skywalker trailer. However, there is a possibility that the Knights will initially appear as Kylo's allies before they turn against him or vice versa. Either way, this should make for some cool action sequences with the Sith Troopers.
The new Sith Trooper merchandise will be available during Triple Force Friday which launches on September 1. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker hits theaters on December 20.
