After Disney and Lucasfilm released the final trailer for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, it didn't take long for fans to share their reactions on social media, one of those fans is the Star Wars: The Last Jedi director himself, Rian Johnson.
In just a few words and an emoji, Johnson expressed what many Star Wars fans must be feeling when they saw the epic new trailer, saying, "Oh my god I <3 Star Wars."
Johnson directed The Last Jedi, the episode of the Skywalker saga before The Rise of Skywalker, before passing the director chair back to The Force Awakens director J.J. Abrams. However, he's far from done with Star Wars as he is set to direct a new Star Wars trilogy that will "move beyond the Legacy characters."
