Star Wars Story Group member Pablo Hidalgo might have always been active when it came to answering fans questions and queries about the galaxy far, far away, however, it looks like the writer has begun blocking almost everyone on Twitter.

Star Wars fans following Hidalgo couldn't help but notice that they've been blocked by the Star Wars Story Group member on Twitter. Apparently, Hidalgo decided to block everyone that he hasn't been following, both people who like and dislike Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

Right now we can't really be sure why Hidalgo decided to purge his Twitter account of people he doesn't really know, but perhaps the toxicity of the Star Wars fanbase has finally weighed down on the writer. The Star Wars Story Group member always entertained fans questions on social media, however, toxic followers against the Star Wars sequel trilogy have been known to attack Hidalgo online.

This isn't the first time that the toxicity of the fanbase has affected those behind the Star Wars fanbase. The Last Jedi haters attacked sequel trilogy star Kelly Marie Tran to the point that the actress had to leave social media. Star Wars lead star Daisy Ridley has also chosen to stay off social media, keeping away from the toxicity of more traditional Star Wars fans.

We understand that everyone has different tastes, however, some fans can be a bit extreme, attacking the cast and crew of Star Wars films that they didn't really enjoy. We're hoping that these fans change their ways, understanding that they can dislike a movie without attacking anyone.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker premieres December 20, 2019.
