In case you weren't aware, Motive Studios and Electronic Arts' Star Wars: Squadrons has already been released this week and players have been having so much fun taking on the space combat shooter video game. Speaking of which, one avid fan of the franchise recreated an iconic scene from Episode VI - Return of the Jedi where an A-Wing crashes onto an Executor which has two Imperial Generals on board.

Reddit user _Aedric tried to recreate the legendary moment with the use of his own A-Wing in the game, paying homage to the brave pilot Arvel Crynyd who risked his life just to take down and destroy the Executor. The player even takes a page out of the famed rebel pilot's playbook and turned the vehicle upside down as it crashed full speed ahead onto a Star Destroyer. His suicide mission was a success, to say the least, and the results were gratifying. Check it out here:

Star Wars: Squadrons is the latest installment in the Star Wars video game catalog and while it's too early to tell if the game is on par with previous Star Wars games that came before it, so far, it's been getting generally positive reviews from players and critics alike. I can totally see the appeal of the video game especially for old school fans who grew up with shooter/space flight simulator games. That being said, the new video game is now available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. I bet it's totally worth the try.
