Star Wars: Skeleton Crew Episode Count Revealed

We finally got an update on Skeleton Crew. The episode count of the highly anticipated Star Wars series has been revealed.

Jude Law's Skeleton Crew Episode Count Finally Revealed

The update comes from the WGA website which lists the first season of Skeleton Crew as being set for premiere in 2023. In addition to that, the list confirms that the upcoming Star Wars show will consist of eight episodes.

This isn't exactly a huge surprise considering that most of the new Star Wars shows have a similar episode count. It has already been confirmed that Ahsoka and The Acolyte will both have eight episodes.

Likewise, each of the three seasons of The Mandalorian had eight episodes.

So what does the episode count mean for Skeleton Crew? The number of episodes might be an indication that the series could run for multiple seasons.

For now, Disney and Lucasfilm have not yet revealed whether Skeleton Crew is set for multiple seasons. In the meantime, fans are already looking forward to the premiere of the first season later this year.

Not much is known about Skeleton Crew other than it will star Jude Law and that it is set in the same timeline as The Mandalorian. The show will reportedly follow four kids who end up being lost in the galaxy after an unexpected discovery on their home planet. The children go on an adventure and presumably cross paths with Law's Jedi.

The new show is being described as an 80s-style fantasy adventure so it's possibly going to feel like Stranger Things but in space and without all the horror themes and D&D references.

Star Wars: Skeleton Crew is created by Jon Watts and Christopher Ford. The series will star Law, Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Kyriana Kratter, Robert Timothy Smith, Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Tunde Adebimpe, and Kerry Condon. It is set to premiere on Disney+ later this year.
