The whereabouts of Luke Skywalker's Jedi students have been deemed as a mystery. Having assumed that the others were left behind and has faced their death, Star Wars finally confirms that some of them are actually alive, and this is revealed through an upcoming comic miniseries.

In a preview of Star Wars: The Rise of Kylo Ren #1, fans get a look at the events that transpired which resulted in Ben Solo becoming "an agent of evil." The issue will be telling the story of Ben's turn to the Dark Side through the eyes of some of Luke Skywalker's students.

One part of the preview shows the characters named Hennix, which is said to be a Quarren Jedi. While the other two Jedis named Tai and Voe are actually human. The three of them are off to the planet where Ben has destroyed the temple.

While on the ship, one particular scene shows that Tai is using the Jedi sensing ability where he recognized that Ben was near the place. The three of them try to confront Ben and attempted to talk to him about what exactly happened to the temple and to Luke.

Jennix and Voe's lightsabers were then shown in the part where they wouldn't let Ben solo go. You can check the full preview here.

The Rise of Kylo Ren #1 was written by Charles Soule with artist Will Sliney. The story will be tackling parts that followed the events of Kylo's "clash" with the Jedi Master seen in The Last Jedi.

Star Wars: The Rise of Kylo Ren #1 will be released on December 18, while Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will hit theaters on December 20.
