Star Wars’ Mark Hamill Rumored For Crisis On Infinite Earths Crossover Event

The Arrowverse's Crisis On Infinite Earths event is gaining a whole lot of attention with major stars like Kevin Conroy set to appear as his version of the live-action Batman, and now, rumor has it that Star Wars legend and voice acting icon Mark Hamill may join the event for the first time on the big screen as the Joker.

Cosmic Book News was told at this year's San Diego Comic-Con International that Crisis on Infinite Earths would be a mega-event crossover series that would include actors from movies, tv, and streaming series. Later on, news came out that Lynda Carter would reprise her role as the 70's Wonder Woman, Smallville's Tom Welling would make an appearance as Superman, and that Brandon Routh would also appear to play the Kingdom Come version of the Man of Steel.

Now, according to a new rumor circulating on YouTube, it seems like the Crisis on Infinite Earths event is looking to bring in Mark Hamill as the Joker.

Hamill has always played a big role in DC, voicing Gotham's Clown Prince of Crime in many different shows like Batman: The Animated Series. He also voiced other DC characters like Solomon Grundy and the Trickster in Justice League and in Justice League unlimited.

Though we're not quite sure what Hamill's Joker would look like in Arrowverse's Crisis on Infinite Earths event, it'd be pretty great to see the voice acting legend take on the live-action version of the Joker on the small screen.

Crisis on Infinite Earths begins airing on Sunday, December 8 at 8 pm EST.
