Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has ended up being one of the better releases from EA this year, proving that single-player games are indeed alive, despite what the publisher said all those years ago. Developer Respawn deserves a brunt of the credit since they made the game so fun to play, even improving over some of its flaws with various updates.
Earlier today, Respawn announced a Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order update that fixes a number of minor issues but also makes Cal Kestis more combat-responsive. That's an interesting addition since most people were fine with the combat the way it was so knowing Cal will much more responsive is going to make fans very happy. This should make fans want to replay the game a bit more, given all the difficulty levels that can be played.
Here's all the Jedi: Fallen Order updates from EA's Reddit:
We've updated Cal so that he is more responsive during combat. This change includes tweaks to stagger reactions, kicks, flybacks, staff parry and sprint attacks.
Fixed an issue that would cause ledge grabs and climbing to sometimes behave incorrectly.
Fixed an audio issue that would sometimes cause sound effects to play in the incorrect order.
Multiple collision fixes across both Zeffo and Bogano.
BD-1 would sometimes not scan one of the Zeffo Villagers after a shutdown during saving. Everyone's favourite droid is now scanning as expected.
Terrarium sometimes wasn't a very nurturing environment, preventing seeds from growing. It should now give your plants the love and care that they deserve, encouraging them to grow properly.
General stability improvements
As someone who immensely enjoyed Jedi: Fallen Order, this update does make me curious about how different Cal will be during fights. I guess it's time to give the harder difficulties a shot.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is now available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
