There's no denying that Harrison Ford is easily one of the most celebrated actors in all of Hollywood and after 56 years in the entertainment industry, it's astonishing how the 79-year-old actor still manages to stay active. In fact, he's currently working on the fifth installment of the legendary Indiana Jones franchise which is scheduled to hit cinemas in 2023.

However, it looks like Ford is ready to enter retirement as early as next year which may come as a huge shocker to many of his avid supporters. According to legendary composer John Williams who's also working on the musical score for Indiana Jones 5, the Star Wars icon will be retiring from acting after the fifth Indiana Jones project which is also believed to be the last Indy film.

Williams told AP News: "At the moment I’m working on Indiana Jones 5, which Harrison Ford — who’s quite a bit younger than I am — I think has announced will be his last film. So, I thought: If Harrison can do it, then perhaps I can, also."

As it stands, Ford has yet to publicly announce his alleged retirement but should he choose to end his storied acting career, I gotta say, ending it along with the Indiana Jones film franchise is the right way to go. Then again, Harrison is still quite strong for his age so the idea of him continuing his career doesn't sound too farfetched.

Indiana Jones 5 is set for theatrical release on June 30, 2023.
