While fans can currently enjoy the first seven Star Wars movies and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story on Disney+, there are two missing films: The Last Jedi and Solo: A Star Wars Story. Both of these movies are controversial in their own way, with Solo supposedly being an underrated movie that didn't get enough love while The Last Jedi is a film that divided the Star Wars fanbase.
Both of these movies are currently not available on Disney+ but that won't last long. Most of us knew they would be added to the service eventually but it seems like fans won't have to wait too long for these Star Wars films to come out. Though they aren't available for viewing yet, if fans decide to search for these movies on the streaming service, the dates of their arrival are there.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be coming to Disney+ on the day after Christmas, a.k.a. Boxing Day, a.k.a. December 26. That's only six days after The Rise of Skywalker hits theaters so fans can realistically watch the first eight Star Wars films on Disney+ if they're willing to wait before they watch The Rise of Skywalker.
Unfortunately, Solo: A Star Wars Story is going to be quite a wait for fans if they don't own it on Blu-ray or DVD yet. The second Star Wars spin-off movie will be available on July 9, 2020. That is a long wait but it could pay dividends for LucasFilm since it might lead to Solo gaining a cult status through fans streaming it.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker comes out on December 20.
