Star Wars: Episode IX Theory Suggests Rey And Kylo Ren Force Connection Is Endgame

There is little doubt that a huge part of Star Wars: Episode IX will be focusing on the relationship between Rey and Kylo Ren. After all, the connection between the two characters was somehow confirmed in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. So is it possible that their Force connection will serve as the grand finale for the Skywalker Saga?

The theory was posted by ScreenRant exploring how the Force connection between Rey and Kylo had little to do with Supreme Leader Snoke. Although the villain had claimed that he was responsible for connecting the two in The Last Jedi, it's possible that Rey and Kylo were already connected and Snoke had simply taken advantage of it. After all, Rey still saw Kylo in the end of the film although Snoke was already dead.

So what are the chances that the Force connection will be explored further in Episode IX? There have been numerous debates about how Rey and Kylo will manage to bring Balance to the Force. Perhaps it is their connection that will truly make things work in the film. As the theory suggests, the Force had brought them together for a reason and that reason could be to achieve Balance.

But how will these two characters ultimately bring Balance? It's possible that one must defeat the other in Episode IX. Considering that the film is the last movie in the Skywalker Saga, it's beginning to look like Kylo will be the one to bite the dust. However, we're still not sure what will happen after his death.
