We've been following Finn since Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and it looks like he's going to have his last adventure with The Rise of Skywalker. Just in, John Boyega shared an image of Finn with new character Jannah (Naomi Ackie), and Boyega also captioned how far Finn has gone from the first installment of the sequel trilogy.

The image is actually a screenshot from the Vanity Fair video that came out recently, but it's interesting that Boyega decided to share it. With Finn's origin before the First Order being a complete mystery, some think that Jannah is possibly a sibling, or maybe just from the same planet that Finn came from. She looks to be her own kind of warrior, and it's possible that the First Order decided to take kids Finn's planet because maybe they're full of capable fighters.
It's just like how all the clones were based off of Jango Fett who was a pretty skilled bounty hunter on his own right.
For now, everyone is waiting on a full trailer to come out in SDCC 2019 this coming July. We got a brief glimpse of the movie during SWCC, but maybe we can have a better look at the Knights of Ren this time around or the red troopers that we've been seeing in the leaked promos.
Catch Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker when it hits theaters Dec. 20.
