Star Wars: Episode IX Footage Reveals Rey Getting Help On 'Dangerous' Mission

We already have a few minor details about Star Wars: Episode IX, thanks to some information about the film's footage that was shared during the recent Disney shareholders meeting. Interestingly, the footage may have shown that Rey is off on a "dangerous" mission and will be needing some help to get things done.

According to details shared on Twitter, all four of the main characters in the current trilogy have interesting scenes in the footage. At one point, Kylo Ren is shown with his head down before it is revealed that he has a container holding Darth Vader's helmet. However, it is the dialogue between Rey and Poe Dameron that hints at a major risk.

"Rey says 'It's too dangerous, I'm going alone.' Poe then says 'We're going together.' We see Poe, Rey, Finn, and Chewbacca all settling into the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon," the tweet reads.

This is certainly an interesting scenario considering that the three characters have yet to work together in the current trilogy. Although Finn has worked with Rey and Poe separately, all three haven't been in a scene together. Needless to say, this is something to look forward to in Episode IX.

Director J.J. Abrams recently announced the Episode IX wrap on Twitter through an awesome photo of Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, and Oscar Isaac hugging on the set. There are speculations that the three had finished filming the scene that was featured in the footage when the picture was taken.

Star Wars: Episode IX is scheduled for release on December 20.
