With only a few days left until The Rise of Skywalker concludes the Skywalker Saga, Star Wars fans are curious if they'd ever get to see Master Yoda again in the upcoming movie. Considering that many people were surprised to see the character in The Last Jedi, would the legendary Jedi Master appear in Episode IX?

At the official red carpet live stream, while talking about the character, Star Wars alum Frank Oz revealed that he won't be in the upcoming film. "I'm not in this movie, by the way," he said. "I'm a freeloader. I'm enjoying myself, no concern." Well, his response ultimately answered the fans' queries.

When asked about his thoughts regarding his return in The Last Jedi, he admitted that it was "great." "You know, Yoda's in my heart," he added. "There's no way around that I wouldn't jump on doing him again."

Oz admits that the character is a tremendous challenge, but he thinks that's "what makes it wonderful." He then said that Yoda has always been inside him, which really shows his passion and love in doing the legendary character.

That being said, towards the end of his interview, he reiterated, "I'm not even in it." Oz revealed that he's at the premiere just for "fun." "I'm not nervous at all, it's great!" he added.

It's unfortunate that we won't get to see Yoda in the final installment of the Skywalker Saga. However, the character made a surprise appearance in The Last Jedi, so fans could still get a few their hopes up. But Oz is really making it clear that Yoda won't be in the last one.
