Star Trek: Voyager Actor Says The Doctor Will Not Appear in Picard Season 2

Trekkies may already have ideas on who should appear in Star Trek: Picard Season 2 after the first season featured several awesome major guests. But what are the chances that Star Trek: Voyager's Doctor will show up in the CBS All Access series? Robert Picardo weighed in on the possibility that the Emergency Medical Hologram will pop up to lend some assistance.

Picardo recently spoke to Comicbook.com about a possible cameo in Picard Season 2. However, the actor stated that he hasn't been contacted yet about making an appearance on the series.

"Well, I can say this: as of now, there are absolutely no plans and there is nothing in the works," Picardo said. However, that doesn't mean he isn't hoping to hear from the producers.

"I admire the show. I think everything is possible. I also know that the fans are a great driver often of what is done in Star Trek. We have not been driven to that particular point, so I'm not saying it couldn't happen in the future, but there are zero plans for it happening now," Picardo concluded.

Although he isn't connected to the series right now, Picardo isn't letting go of his Star Trek roots anytime soon. He recently made an awesome music video where he laments about the fact that he isn't Brent Spiner, who actually played two different roles in the first season of Picard.
