Star Trek: Picard Showrunner Wants to Work on Adam Warlock Movie for MCU

It's no secret that Adam Warlock is that one comic book character that fans are hoping will eventually be introduced in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But who could work on bringing the iconic superhero into the MCU? Star Trek: Picard showrunner Michael Chabon hopes that Marvel Studios will consider giving him a call.

Chabon has been interacting with his followers on Instagram and it's no surprise that he is getting asked on which superhero he connects with the most (via Comicbook.com). The screenwriter answered that he is a huge fan of many comic book heroes but mentioned only one.

"So many! Still holding out for that Warlock call from #kevinfeige!" Chabon wrote.

He's not kidding about that. Chabon has previously admitted to The New York Times that he is hoping Marvel Studios would call him to work on a film focusing on Adam Warlock.

"If Marvel Studios ever gets around to doing Jim Starlin's Warlock, the most rollicking, existential, soul-vampiric, cosmo-lysergic work of funky space opera ever created, I hope they will think of me," Chabon said.

We're not sure why Marvel hasn't called Chabon just yet. Perhaps the studio is still considering the best way to introduce Adam into the MCU. In addition to that, there's a huge chance that Kevin Feige is choosing to focus on the projects that have already been announced. Nevertheless, we're hoping that Marvel will call Chabon when the time is right to bring Adam into the MCU.
