Star Trek: Picard Production Has Finally Wrapped

Star Trek: Picard is almost here. The highly anticipated Star Trek spin-off series has officially wrapped and we have some images of the awesome goodies that the cast and crew took home after completing production.

The pictures were posted by VFX director Ante Dekovic on his official Instagram account. Make sure to swipe through to see all the cool Star Trek goodies.

"That's a wrap on Star Trek: Picard!!! ...at least the filming part. All is left, months of post production," Dekovic wrote. Thanks @startrekcbs @michael.chabon, Akiva, @alexkurtzmanofficial and of course @sirpatstew for the experience.
Also a big thank you to everybody who helped us on set with the VFX. Even that for most of the time, it was hard to imagine or understand the things that we do. Can't wait for the world to watch the show and get their minds blown!"

There is little doubt that the coolest thing here is the sweet message from Patrick Stewart and the producers.

"To the Best Crew in the Galaxy (or any Galaxy). You knocked yourselves out, under challenging conditions, and because of you PICARD SEASON ONE took flight. You made it so," it reads.

We're certainly hyped up for the premiere of Star Trek: Picard now that it's almost complete. After all, there are several Star Trek characters that are set to return and reunite with Jean-Luc Picard. The San Diego Comic-Con trailer only offered glimpses at Data and Seven of Nine but there is little doubt that we will be seeing more cameos soon.

Star Trek: Picard has not yet been given a release date but the first season is expected to air on CBS All Access in early 2020.
