Following CBS' massive Star Trek Day celebration last September to commemorate the franchise's 54th anniversary, the spectacle apparently isn't going to end anytime soon as Amazon will be continuing the festivities by hosting their own event, only this time, it's set to be a month-long celebration of the iconic science-fiction franchise. CBS, Paramount, IDW Publishing are now joining forces for Amazon.com's epic Star Trek Month which will kick-off next month and they are going to be delivering all the goodies for diehard Trekkies out there.
Starting November 1st, fans will be able to score some pretty sweet deals off the online shopping website. Purchase any Star Trek home media product from Amazon and you'll get your hands on a free digital copy of IDW's comics which directly ties into Star Trek: Picard,Star Trek: Discovery, and Star Trek: The Original Series. There's a little catch though, you have to purchase at least $25 worth of products. but it's still an awesome deal.
This, of course, is great news for a lot of Trekkies all across the globe and it only proves that the Star Trek franchise is still a hot commodity in the world of science-fiction, over five decades after its original debut. Speaking of, fans can't stop buzzing about Season 3 of Star Trek: Discovery, and we aren't even halfway through the entire series and the excitement keeps on building.
That said, Star Trek: Discovery Season 3 is now streaming on CBS All Access.
