Viral Squid Game Video Makes Red Light, Green Light Much Scarier

Netflix's Squid Game, made children's games look more terrifying thanks to their deadly consequences, but the streaming giant has made the Red Light, Green Light game even frightening than the scene we've seen in the South Korean survival drama hit.

A viral video inspired by the Red Light, Green Light game from Squid Game was recently shared to remind us of the show's iconic giant doll. The video, created by Jake Fellman, features a television screen showing the Red Light, Green Light scene from the show, but the doll doesn't just turn around to catch those who move, it comes out of the screen just like Sadako from the Japanese horror movie, Ring.

Just a month after it premiered, Squid Game became Netflix's biggest show ever, surpassing Bridgerton's record. The massive global success of Squid Game may have earned the streaming giant billions of dollars in profit, so it's not surprising that Season 2 has already been confirmed.

Earlier this month, writer/director Hwang Dong-hyuk told the AP that Season 2 is coming. "So, there's been so much pressure, so much demand, and so much love for a second season. So I almost feel like you leave us no choice," he said. "But, I will say there will indeed be a second season. It's in my head right now. I'm in the planning process currently. But I do think it's too early to say when and how that's going to happen."
