Episode 7 of Spy x Family's anime, titled "The Target's Second Son," showed Anya's rough beginnings at school. However, during the episode, it looked like he was in denial of something as well — does Damian like Anya?
For the uninitiated, Spy x Family follows Twilight, a secret agent who has to create a fake family for his current mission.
Under the alias Loid Forger, he forms the Forger family. However, he's not the only one with secrets — his wife, Yor, is an assassin, while his daughter, Anya, is a telepath.
The hit comedy series by Endo Tatsuya, Spy x Family, has undoubtedly become the talk of the town, especially after the anime's premiere.
Furthermore, the Spy x Family manga is more popular than ever — as of April 2022, the manga has already sold around 17 million copies.
Who is Damian Desmond in Spy x Family?

+ 3Damian Desmond is the second son of Donovan Desmond, Twilight's target. He is in the same class as Anya, and Loid was hoping that they become friends so he could get closer to Donovan.
In the beginning, Damian can be perceived as an arrogant child, probably brought about by his social status and upbringing. He thought Anya had a crush on him after he caught her simply staring at him.
After Anya's infamous "heh" moment, Damian gets angry with her after he feels offended by her expression. Furthermore, Damian's feelings regarding Anya become blurred after she punched him.

Does Damian Like Anya in Spy x Family Explained
click to enlarge + 3When Anya apologizes to Damian with tears in her eyes, it was like a switch flipped inside Damian. It turns out his feelings of being nervous around Anya were because he developed a crush on her.
In his monologue right after Anya's apology, a part of him already knew that he seemed to have feelings for her. However, he just didn't want to admit it.

Following those series of events, further episodes will definitely cover the weird, developing relationship between Damian and Anya. Although one thing is for sure — the target's second son has developed a crush on Anya!
