Spider-Man Star Tom Holland's Mature Look for Cherry Almost Makes Him Unrecognizable

We all know for a fact that Tom Holland is a phenomenal actor and he's proven that over the years. However, it also can't be denied that he's been stereotyped for quite some time now thanks to his involvement in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as our friendly neighborhood web-slinger Spider-Man.

That great thing is that 2020 marked a drastic change in Tom's acting resume and he's become more open to taking on more serious and mature acting roles. One of which is the hit Netflix thriller The Devil All the Time which showcased Holland's true acting capabilities, turning a lot of heads in the process.

Another project the Spidey actor is set to appear in is the upcoming crime-drama flick Cherry which marks his reunion with his Avengers franchise directors Joe and Anthony Russo. Although we've yet to see the film's trailer, it promises to feature another stellar performance from the young actor.

Now, several new images from the film have surfaced online and by the looks of it, we'll be seeing an entirely different Tom Holland in Cherry. Twitter user Eric Cameron took to his platform to share brand new posters for the film and they pretty suggest that Holland will be undergoing several physical transformations over the course of the project. Check 'em out here.

Of course, Tom can't play Spider-Man forever so it's nice that he's exploring other projects outside of the MCU bubble. That's not to say though that I'm already tired of seeing him as Peter Parker because quite frankly, he's an awesome Spidey and I'd love nothing more than to see him continue playing the "amazing" hero in the Marvel Universe.

Cherry is slated for release in early 2021.
