Online rumors suggest that Spider-Man 3 will mark the highly anticipated big-screen debut of the Sinister Six which will make Peter Parker's life a living hell. So far, we already have the likes of Vulture, Scorpion, Mysterio (assuming he's not dead), and potentially Electro who will be played by the returning Jamie Foxx. Now, another iconic Spidey villain is the subject of speculation as Kraven the Hunter is also rumored to be making his appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Fans have a few suggestions as to which actor should score the coveted role, but Joe Manganiello, who previously appeared in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy as Flash Thompson seemingly tops the fan cast list. And in case you were wondering how the Justice League star would look like as the feisty scavenger in the third Spidey flick, this new fan image depicts Manganiello as the ruthless baddie. Manganiello has constantly been impressing us with the physical shape he's in and given the fact that Kraven is an imposing figure, I can totally see Joe acing the role should he be given the chance. However, no confirmation has been made about Kraven's inclusion in the MCU's third Spider-Man film so all of this is just wishful thinking for now. Also, Joe is busy writing his redemption story as Deathstroke over at the DC Extended Universe so I'm guessing that's his main priority these days. That's not to say though that I wouldn't want to see him back in the Marvel universe because he was actually pretty decent in the first Spider-Man film although Flash's character didn't exactly experience any progression.
That said, Spider-Man 3 is currently filming in Atlanta.
