Spider-Man: No Way Home Star Tom Holland Teases Scene with Mysterious Character

There are less than two months left before Spider-Man: No Way Home releases in theaters and fans are already excited to see Tom Holland's third solo outing as our friendly neighbor as it is expected to venture into the multiverse and features villains from the past Spider-Man films. There is also the speculations that former Spider-Men Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield might make an appearance in the film, which still hasn't been confirmed.

In a recent interview with Empire Magazine, Holland teased that he filmed "one of the coolest scenes" he ever shot with Marisa Tomei's Aunt May, Jon Favreau's Happy Hogan, and a certain character that he didn't divulge the identity of. He said, "It’s four people sitting at a table, having a conversation about what it’s like to be a superhero, and it was amazing. The other day we watched the scene, my brother and I, and our jaws were on the floor."

Of course, the question now is: Who is that mysterious fourth character that he shared a scene with? Since Holland was being secretive about the identity, it's not likely that it is MJ, Ned, Doctor Strange, Wong, Doc Ock, or Electro (who are all confirmed to be part of the film). The best guess here is that it is a surprise character that hasn't been officially revealed to be part of the film. Could it be Maguire or Garfield? A villain that also hasn't been announced? Or an existing MCU character that will also make a surprise appearance? The choices are endless.

So far, everyone involved in the film has been obviously secretive about the possible surprises in the film amid all the speculations among the fan community. In the same interview, when Holland was asked about the rumored appearance of the previous Spider-Men, he played mum by simply saying, "I don’t know. I’m always in the dark. If they are, no-one’s told me."

Holland may be known for accidentally spoiling details in the past, but he really is being more careful and silent this time around. We don't blame him though and, of course, he signed an NDA so obviously, he will not reveal any secrets until he is allowed to. We will find out soon enough if these rumors and speculations are true.
