Spider-Man: Far From Home May Have Confirmed Tony Stark Was [SPOILERS] In Avengers: Endgame

It seems like Spider-Man: Far From Home has already answered all of the questions people had about what happened after Avengers: Endgame, like how everyone moved on after "the blip." But did it also confirm a fan theory about Tony Stark?

WARNING! Spider-Man: Far From Home spoilers ahead, proceed with caution!

In Far From Home, it was revealed that Nick Fury and Maria Hill are actually Talos and Soren, the Skrulls who were featured in Captain Marvel. The two had been masquerading as Fury and Hill while the real Fury was somewhere building something with the other Skrulls. Naturally, the revelation has led to several theories about what really happened in Endgame.

Some people believe that the person who put on the Gauntlet and snapped their fingers in Endgame was actually a Skrull pretending to be Tony. Of course, that would mean Tony is still alive somewhere and could return in a future Marvel Cinematic Universe film. However, it would also cheapen Tony's heartbreaking sacrifice so we're hoping that this one isn't true.

But wait, why didn't Tony's AI E.D.I.T.H. recognize Fury and Hill are not who they say they are? Comicbook.com discusses two possibilities, one of which suggests that Tony wasn't aware of the Skrulls. The other possibility could be that he was working with the Skrulls in the first place and made sure the glasses gifted to Peter Parker by Fury and Hill wouldn't give away their true identities.

Do you think Tony was a Skrull in Endgame? Could the Skrulls be working with Stark Industries? Sound off in the comments below.
