Spider-Man Actor Andrew Garfield’s MCU Return Just Got a Bit More Likely With New Clip From No Way Home


Spider-Man actor Andrew Garfield hasn’t held back his excitement about finally returning as Spider-Man after seven years, particularly with the chance to appear alongside two other live-action Spider-Man actors. But now, after the MCU’s Multiverse officially became a reality in Spider-Man: No Way Home, a lot of fans are already hoping to see him back as Spider-Man in the MCU.

Garfield’s recent comeback was what pushed the hype train for his Spider-Man MCU movie forward, thanks to his enthusiasm for playing the character in his two The Amazing Spider-Man movies. He also build a close relationship with his fellow Spider-Man actors through this experience, which allowed him to make his debut in the MCU to be the biggest Spider-Man solo movie to date.

Fans have been wondering after Garfield’s starring role in No Way Home whether he will come back to play the role again. Now, thanks to the newly released footage in the upcoming More Fun Stuff Version of No Way Home, which will be released over the next few weeks, it seems that Garfield’s Spider-Man comeback may not be that far-fetched.

In a new featurette released by Sony, it shows Maguire and Garfield sitting with Tom Holland and discussing their experience playing the role in Spider-Man: No Way Home. The three Spider-Man actors were thrilled to join forces in the film, with Garfield saying how great it was to be "honoring the Multiverse lineage" with the two Spider-Man’s inclusion in the story.

In the newly released clip from Spider-Man: No Way Home - The More Fun Stuff version, it shows Andrew Garfield’s Peter 3 wanting to reunite with his fellow Peter Parkers. Garfield’s Peter 3 tells Tobey Maguire’s Peter 2 "we should do this again," to which Peter 2 replies "you got it." This new clip comes as part of 11 minutes of previously unseen footage that will be released in the film’s extended cut.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is available to stream on Netflix. Spider-Man: No Way Home - The More Fun Stuff version is set to be released on September 1, 2022.
