Spider-Man 3 Shirts Given to Film Crew Drop Major Casting Hints About [SPOILERS]

Even before Tom Holland's bold declaration, Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures' third Spider-Man film has in fact been shaping up to be the Marvel Cinematic Universe's most ambitious superhero film to date and a lot of it has something to do with Phase 4 centered on the wondrous concept of the multiverse.

If you've been closely following the project for the last couple of months, you know for sure that Spider-Man: No Way Home is heavily being rumored to be a project where all three Spidey actors — Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland will be coming together to stop the threat of the Sinister Six. Sure, Holland has already come out on several occasions to dismiss the Tobey and Andrew casting rumors but that didn't stop fans from speculating.

Now, more and more pieces of evidence are hinting that the two actors are in fact joining the MCU despite the studios and Holland's efforts to keep everything under wraps. In a stunning new development, shirts given to the film's production crew have surfaced online and it features Garfield's original costume from The Amazing Spider-Man.

If you'll take a closer look at the other goodies, it also includes a mini banner of sorts that makes use of the same font seen in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy. Right off the bat, the first question that comes to mind is: if Tobey and Andrew aren't really attached to the project, then why would the studios include traces of their Spider-Man? It doesn't take a genius to know that they're more than just references and easter eggs. Despite the lack of confirmation from all parties involved, I'm still convinced that Spider-Man: No Way Home will end up being the MCU's version of Into the Spider-Verse.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is scheduled for release in December.
