The third MCU Spider-Man film is already shaping up to be a good one, thanks to all the news that we've been receiving over the last couple of days. Now, if you think the inclusion of Jamie Foxx's Electro and Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange are already mind-blowing, a new report claims that another major Spidey villain which isn't from Earth-616 will make his way to the already stacked film.
According to an exclusive scoop from FandomWire, Spider-Man 3 will mark the stunning debut of iconic Spidey baddie Kraven the Hunter and Mac Gargan in his Scorpion suit. But not only that, the biggest takeaway from the entertainment site's report is the rumors of Green Goblin wreaking havoc in the MCU. While it wasn't specified which Gobby it will be, it's safe to assume that the villain we'll see comes from Andrew Garfield's The Amazing Spider-Man 2 played by Dane DeHaan as Willem Dafoe's version already died in Tobey Maguire's first Spider-Man film but then again, with how complex the Multiverse is, virtually anything can happen.
Apart from it diving into the Marvel Multiverse, it looks like the yet-to-be-titled Spider-Man 3 could finally be setting up the Marvel Cinematic Universe arrival of the famed Sinister Six, an alliance consisting of Spidey's greatest foes. And considering the fact that Tom Holland's Peter Parker has yet to face multiple villains in one film, the obvious move for him will be to call backup. Now, I don't want to give false hopes but what if the only way our web-slinging hero could defeat the upcoming threat in his world is with the help of his fellow Spider-Men? Of course, he could easily assemble the Avengers but what if Tobey and Andre enter the fold? Just think about it.
