Former SISTAR main vocalist Hyolyn tested positive for COVID-19. On a recent report by Bridge Entertainment, Hyolyn has been in close contact with a COVID-19 confirmed patient on January 25 while waiting for the recording of KBS 2TV’s program Yoo Heeyeol’s Sketchbook.

According to the solo artist’s agency, “Hyolyn has immediately halted all schedules and has conducted a PCR test.

Since then, the COVID-19 test results have been confirmed positive on January 26. As a preemptive safety measure, all staff members were also tested for the virus and received negative results.”

Hyolyn released her digital single

On November 30, 2021, Hyolyn was supposed to release her new digital single, “Layin’ Low.” However, it was delayed to January 2022. Before the single’s release, Hyolyn presented a special Christmas single entitled “A-Ha,” which was released on December 22, 2021.

Then, on January 12, Hyolyn finally revealed “Layin’ Low,” featuring singer-songwriter Jooyoung.

Meanwhile, Hyolyn debuted as a member of the South Korean girl group SISTAR in 2010. The group consisted of her as the main vocalist, with Bora, Soyou, and Dasom.
