It has been a long wait but it was definitely worth it. The first teaser for She-Hulk has just been dropped at Disney+ Day and we now have an awesome look at Tatiana Maslany stepping out as Jennifer Walters.
We learned about the She-Hulk series during the D23 conference back in late 2019. Since then, there are only been a few updates about the Marvel Cinematic Universe show including some casting news and a possible second season. Luckily, the first teaser is finally here and it looks like Tatiana Maslany has completely transformed herself into Jennifer Walters. Check it out below.
The She-Hulk teaser opens with Maslany introducing herself as Jennifer Walters. She claims to be a normal lawyer at first. "Well, not that normal," she adds as we see Jennifer all lean and green but not necessarily very mean.
The teaser also features Mark Ruffalo returning as Bruce Banner, who tells Jennifer that the transformations are triggered by "anger and fear." It concludes with Jennifer warning people not to make her angry. "You wouldn't like me when I'm angry," she adds.
It's a very brief glimpse at the show but it's certainly enough to have people hyped up for She-Hulk. After all, She-Hulk's transformation looks spot-on and absolutely comic-accurate. We don't get to see Jennifer's face as She-Hulk but hopefully, we'll get that image really soon.
She-Hulk is created by Jessica Gao and is expected to be renewed for a second season even before its premiere. In addition to Maslany and Ruffalo, the MCU show will also star Jameela Jamil as the villainous Titania and Tim Roth who will reprise his role as Emil Blonsky aka Abomination. The cast includes Ginger Gonzaga, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Anais Almonte, and Josh Segarra.
She-Hulk has not yet been given an official release date. However, the MCU show is already expected to consist of 10 episodes and will premiere on Disney+ sometime in 2022. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
