The upcoming Disney+ series, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, is set to head the MCU in a whole new direction. The live-action series will feature a mix of newbies and MCU veterans, including Tim Roth’s return as The Abomination/Emil Blonsky.
The marketing for the She-Hulk series, as well as the character’s appearance in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings has teased that Abomination will be in a new status quo compared to when he was last seen in The Incredible Hulk. With the release of the official trailer for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and a new featurette, we now have a look at what Abomination has been up to all these years. In addition to Blonsky being represented by Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk in court (Tatiana Maslany), the new She-Hulk featurette reveals a scene of Titania (Jameela Jamil) and She-Hulk at "Abomaste", a wellness retreat that appears to be run by Blonsky.
"She's amazing," Tim Roth previously praised Maslany’s performance in the upcoming series. "It's actually jaw-dropping. Yeah, you know what, just watching it just on a day-to-day level, and sometimes a dialogue lands, just on that level, and her ability to absorb and then perform was quite remarkable. And she's funny. One of the signs of a good actor is their comedic touch and she has it."
"[Maslany and Ruffalo] together were very funny, and we could improvise, depending on who we were working with on any particular day," Roth added. "Some of the directors that we worked with were up for improv, and that was funny, the idea of improvising with those characters in that situation. It was unusual, to say the least."
