It goes without saying that She-Hulk: Attorney at Law's finale episode was unlike anything we've seen from Marvel and there's a good reason why fans are still buzzing about it, despite the show being one of the most divisive projects the studio has put out. Episode 9 saw the emergence of K.E.V.I.N., an AI machine that is revealed to be the one running the entire MCU.

Of course, the new character is a direct nod to Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige who is the mastermind behind the billion-dollar franchise. While the reception to K.E.V.I.N. has been quite favorable, Feige apparently had an issue with how the character looked.

Appearing on Comicbook.com's Phase Zero podcast, She-Hulk writer Jessica Gao revealed that Feige had an issue with the AI robot's appearance. It turns out that the MCU patriarch wasn't a fan of the idea of K.E.V.I.N. having a brim that resembled a baseball cap, something that has been a staple in Kevin's wardrobe.

Gao explains: "We did get in a fight over the hat because in the script it says that She-Hulk enters the inner sanctum. There is this big Akira-like, Hal-9000 type of AI machine, and that’s KEVIN. And it says in the script: ‘And the machine is wearing a little black baseball cap on top.’ And the pre-vis team, had started mocking up all types of versions of KEVIN. And they all had a little black baseball cap on top."

While it's safe to assume that K.E.V.I.N.'s finale "cameo" was meant to be a one-off, fans thought his inclusion in the series was a clever touch so maybe we'll see him turn up in the franchise more often, especially with a certain fourth-wall-breaking character in Deadpool set to make his MCU debut soon.

All episodes of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law are now streaming on Disney+.
