Shazam Reveals His Age to Sivana in New TV Spot

March will see the release of Captain Marvel, but April will have the arrival of the original Captain Marvel with DCEU's Shazam!. A lot of new clips have been making their way online, and a new spot has Shazam interacting with the villain Dr. Sivana.

What's funny about the clip is you can see how much of a child Billy Batson is. When asked by Sivana about his age, you can see that he's visibly insecure about being 14.

We also get to meet the rest of Billy's new foster family. It looks like Darla will be finding out about Billy's secret in the film. If the toy leaks are to be believed, then Darla herself will get her own Shazam identity. When Darla transforms, her powers amplify her speed, making her the fastest in the group.

With Shazam! set to come out a few months away, a lot of fans have become irritated that the only fully trailer we have for the film was the one released at SDCC last year. We don't know the reason for this delay, but it's possible that they could be held up when it comes to the visual effects of the film.

Billy Batson is a streetwise 14-year-old who can magically transform into the adult superhero Shazam simply by shouting out one word. His newfound powers soon get put to the test when he squares off against the evil Dr. Thaddeus Sivana.

Catch Shazam! in theaters April 5.
