We're all aware by now of Shazam! director David F. Sandberg's huge plans for the film's sequel and he's teasing the inclusion of a popular DC character to make a cameo in Fury of the Gods opposite Zachary Levi.
Taking to Twitter, Sandberg posted a link to a poll asking fans which DC character they'd like to see in the sequel. The choices include Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Harley Quinn, and of course, Superman who "appeared" during Shazam!'s mid-credit scene. We all know that it wasn't Henry Cavill but rather a body double they got to don the Superman suit. Check out his tweet below:
The Kryptonian hero without a shadow of a doubt would be the perfect and most logical choice to join the Shazam Family for the sequel considering his rich history with Billy Batson. And with Henry Cavill reportedly renewing his DC film contract to return for a potential Man of Steel 2 plus a few cameo appearances, it could all be set in stone real soon. How about a showdown between the two just like in the comics? That would be great!
