Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings sure is one of the most anticipated films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as it introduces the first titular Asian superhero starring Simu Liu who teases that the fight scenes that will be seen in the film are unlike anything that has already been showing throughout the MCU.

Simu Liu has been training hard for his role as Shang-Chi and he has continuously expressed his excitement for his MCU debut in his very own film as it will surely cater a fresh new look for what the future holds for the MCU, making Shang-Chi one of the new arrivals for the fourth phase.

In an interview with E! Online, Liu shared that the action sequences would be something new to the MCU and he said, "I promise that Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is going to deliver action sequences in a way that MCU fans, or any fans, have never seen before, and that is [a] personal promise. You can stamp it, you can quote it, you can guarantee it. You guys are in for a treat, for sure. And I'm so excited."

Shang-Chi is still undetermined when it is set in the MCU timeline but it will definitely clear the air out about who the Mandarin really is, not the phony one everyone has seen in Iron Man 3. It seems that there will also be a father-and-son relationship turning sour as the father of the titular character is the same person as that of the Mandarin.

Simu Liu banners the cast as Shang-Chi and he will be joined by Tony Leung as Wenwu/The Mandarin, Michelle Yeoh as Jiang Nan, Awkwafina as Katy, Fala Chen as Jiang Li, Meng'er Zhang as Xialing, and Florian Munteanu as Razor Fist.

Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings is premiering on September 3, 2021 in theaters, and 45 days after its theatrical release, it would be up on Disney+.
