Shang-Chi Deleted Scene Killed Off Fan-Favorite Character

Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings is now available on Disney+ and that means more people are able to watch it (or rewatch it) in the comfort of their own homes. However, we're also learning some interesting new things about the Marvel Cinematic Universe flick. For instance, one of the deleted scenes has just been revealed and it features the death of a character that fans have already fallen in love with!

There is little doubt that Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings introduced a lot of interesting characters. However, most fans zeroed in on Razor Fist because of his awesomely meme-able name and the fact that he is played by Florian Munteanu. The film concluded with a hopeful future for Razor Fist but that might not be the original plan with the character.

One of the Shang-Chi deleted scenes has been shared and it puts the focus on Razor Fist and Katy. In Pep Talk, Katy is worried that she might not be able to fight well in the final battle. However, Razor Fist tells her about his past as an amputee and talks her into believing in herself.

There's just one more problem: Katy's bow is too far away and there are too many soul-suckers surrounding him. Razor Fist decides to go in with his powered-up blade and manages to toss the bow back at Katy. However, he is immediately overwhelmed by the soul-suckers, who suck his soul out and he falls dead to the ground.

It would have been a great sacrifice that would give Razor Fist's story arc an amazing conclusion. However, that would also mean no Razor Fist in the Shang-Chi sequel. Luckily, they decided against killing off the character so we'll get to see more of Munteanu in the future.
