Shaman King is based on a 1998-2004 shonen manga. As is the case with many popular works, the manga received an anime adaptation while still ongoing, meaning that the ending the creators intended for us never made it to our screens. Instead, the reboot is faithful to the manga.

Shaman King follows Yoh Asakura, who fights to become the best among shamans an all-powerful being with the ability to summon spirits and manipulate the world according to their will. To achieve his dream, Yoh must come victorious out of a competition that only takes place once every 500 years.

Episode 37 was one of character development for Chocolove, while Anna is proving herself as one of her team's strongest. The Gollem was an interesting complication, and, while the episode was once again rushed, fans definitely found a lot to enjoy.
