Secret Invasion Star Teases Production Start Date, Confirms Scenes with Nick Fury

There are so many awesome Marvel Cinematic Universe shows coming to Disney+ soon and this includes Secret Invasion. Interestingly, the series is set to be the next major MCU project to start filming. Christopher McDonald, who has been confirmed to join the all-star cast, has teased the production start date and even admitted that he will be filming scenes with Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury.

McDonald is the latest star confirmed to be joining Secret Invasion. Although the veteran actor's role is still a mystery, he did share some cool new details about the series. For instance, McDonald revealed that the MCU show will begin production soon.

"I'm [coming] to London to make this thing happen in a months time, I think?" McDonald told The Movie Dweeb. "A month and a half's time, I'll be there doing it. I know nothing. I can say nothing cause I signed an NDA, so there's nothing other than the fact it's called Secret Invasion. I can't go too far into it."

We understand why McDonald doesn't want to share too much about the project. After all, there's a reason why it's called Secret Invasion. Nevertheless, McDonald was happy to confirm that he will work with Jackson. However, he is also eager to film some scenes with his talented co-stars.

"I know I'll be doing a lot of stuff with Samuel," McDonald stated. "But I would love to work with Olivia Coleman. Of course, Ms. [Emilia] Clarke would be amazing. Sam's going to be amazing."

Secret Invasion will also star Ben Mendelsohn, who will reprise his role as Talos. The series is set to premiere on Disney+ in 2022.
