Nick Fury has been a major player in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since its inception in 2008 but despite his character's significant role in various projects — from the first Iron Man film to Captain Marvel, we've yet to dive deep into the former SHIELD director's personal life.
Well, if you think you already knew everything there is to know about Fury, think again. Secret Invasion's second episode pretty much uncovers new details about the tenured MCU character's personal life previously unbeknownst to many.
Secret Invasion Episode 2's Shocking Twist Reveals Nick Fury is Married to a Skrull
Apparently, the character, played by Samuel L. Jackson has a life outside his chaotic field. In the closing moments of Episode 2 titled "Promises", it was revealed that Fury is actually married to a Skrull.
The shape-shifting alien in question is Priscilla Fury played by Charlayne Woodard who first shows up in Episode 2's flashback sequence featuring a young Gravik.
As Fury returns to his home, Priscilla changes back to her human form and from there, fans learned about their true connection. What's quite intriguing is how they've seemingly been keeping their marriage a secret, with Nick leaving his wedding ring every time he's out doing his heroic duties.

Now, some of you may be wondering how long Nick and Priscilla have been married. While the show doesn't confirm the extent of their relationship, the flashback sequence might be a dead giveaway that they've been together for at least 30 years, with the said flashback taking place following the events of Captain Marvel.
Another question that fans probably want to be answered is if they actually have children. Hopefully, the upcoming episodes of Secret Invasion will offer viewers some clarity regarding Fury's "secret" life.
