Sebastian Stan Compares Falcon and the Winter Soldier to MCU Movie

Avengers: Endgame star Sebastian Stan says that Marvel's upcoming live-action series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is actually much like Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

Speaking in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter (via News Lagoon) to help promote his new Marvel project with Falcon star Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan tries to describe The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and likens the project with Marvel's second Captain America standalone movie.

While the project is technically a Marvel limited series, Stan says that The Falcon and the Winter Soldier also feels much like a movie.

"It felt like both (a movie and a TV show)," the actor told the entertainment news outlet when asked to describe the production of the project. "In a lot of ways it felt like a movie...what I loved about it was that, tonally, it was very much in the same world that Captain America: The Winter Soldier was, which was one of my favorite experiences that I've ever had period."

While some fans might interpret this tiny bit of information too literally and think that Bucky is going to lose his memories and fight with Falcon in the upcoming series, all Stan means is that the show is going to be just as grounded as The Winter Soldier.

Based on Stan's description of the show, Marvel fans are definitely going to have a great time watching Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Who doesn't love huge action movies balanced by great story and character growth?

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is expected to premiere sometime later this year.
