Skeleton Knight in Another World is based on the light novel series of the same name written by Ennki Kahari and illustrated by KeG. There are currently ten volumes which were first published in October 2014 on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō.
There is also a manga adaptation of Skeleton Knight in Another World with the illustrations of Akira Sawano which was first published in 2017 in Overlap’s Comic Gardo and currently boasts nine tankōbon volumes as of the time of writing.
Skeleton Knight in Another World follows the story of a gamer who got reincarnated as his avatar in an online game. He was disappointed when he found out that he looks like a skeleton since such skin was the last one he used.
Looking for the inhabitants of the game while trying to stay as low-key as possible thinking of how hideous he looked, he saw two women in danger, Lauren and Rita Farren, he saved them and introduced himself as Arc.
Skeleton Knight in Another World Season 1 was released on Crunchyroll which gives their premium subscribers exclusive access to the shows in their library.
