This is great news for fans who have been waiting for new Scott Pilgrim content for a long time. After all, it has been over a decade since the last graphic novel was released. The same thing can be said about the film adaptation that starred Michael Cera and Mary Elizabeth Olsen. Moreover, it has been a year since the release of the video game Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game - Complete Edition.

Although we're thrilled to know that Scott Pilgrim is getting an anime series, it is important to point out that the project is still in development and has not yet been given the greenlight. With that in mind, we'll be waiting for updates on the show.

Scott Pilgrim was first released in 2004 and spanned six volumes. The graphic novel follows the titular character who is the bass player of the band Sex-Bob-omb. Scott meets and falls in love with a delivery girl named Ramona Flowers but discovers he must defeat her seven evil exes so they could date in peace.

The Scott Pilgrim anime series is still in early development and has not yet been given an official release date. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
