During the premiere episodes of Ahsoka, a lot of fans noticed that long-time Star Wars actor Sam Witwer is credited as part of the "additional voices" team which prompted them to speculate which mysterious character is he voicing in the series.

The most popular theory at the moment is that the identity behind Marrok is actually Starkiller from The Force Unleashed video game which is also voiced by Witwer and there are speculations that he will appear in the flesh later in the series.

This is definitely a mystery that fans will continue to discuss and dissect as the series goes on until they finally unmask Marrok's identity which may or may not turn out to be Witwer's face behind it.

In his recent livestream (via ComicBook.com), Witwer finally addressed his casting in Ahsoka although in a more ambiguous manner.

While he confirmed his involvement in the series, he declined to give out more details about whether his role has any significance to the series as the current actors' strike forbids him to extensively talk about it.

"I can't really talk about stuff like that except that there's a show that I watched and I really liked it. I don't know what the rules are. Honestly, I was just about to say that I didn't work on Ahsoka but I did, so yeah I don't think I can say anything but that I'm proud of Dave [Filoni]," Witwer said.

Despite not giving out any details surrounding his involvement as part of the show's "additional voices" team, it is still promising that he acknowledges his casting which gives fans something to play with as they continue to theorize his mysterious role.

However, it should be pointed out that Witwer has also done work as part of the "additional voices" team in other Star Wars live-action films and TV shows so his involvement here might not be as big as fans are making it out to be.

Perhaps Witwer was just lending his voice to some of the smaller characters just like in the past and the theory surrounding him behind Marrok is wrong when they address it later in the series.

Nevertheless, this is definitely a continuing conversation for fans in the coming weeks and it is exciting to see whether they are right or wrong surrounding Witwer's involvement in the series.
