It's almost unbelievable how Star Wars has managed to be on a massive roll as of late, especially after the sequel trilogy failed to click with fans and critics but thanks to the creative minds behind The Mandalorian, the science-fiction franchise is once again reaching heights many thought it would never achieve.

The success of the Pedro Pascal-led series also paved the way for Lucasfilm to expand Star Wars through Disney+ and while the stuff they've put out hasn't always been great, it's definitely a far cry from what fans were fed over the last couple of years.

Now, the MandoVerse is set to branch out yet again with the anticipated release of Rosario Dawson's standalone Ahsoka show. So far, key details about the project are still being kept under wraps but rumor has it that the show will serve as a continuation of Star Wars Rebels. The show has been in production for quite some time now but it looks like it's close to completion.

Taking to Instagram, actress Natasha Liu Bordizzo celebrated her Star Wars journey so far, seemingly hinting that she has wrapped filming on Ahsoka. Just recently, her co-actor Eman Esfandi who plays the live-action version of Ezra Bridger has also reportedly finished filming his scenes for the show. Check out Natasha's post here:

Hopefully, the MandoVerse will regain its momentum next year because let's face it, The Book of Boba Fett failed to capitalize on The Mandalorian's hype. As for Ahsoka, fans have long been clamoring for the live-action debuts of characters like Ezra, Sabine, and even Grand Admiral Thrawn and it looks like Lucasfilm has no plans of disappointing the fandom.

The official release date for Ahsoka has yet to be announced but it's expected to hit Disney+ sometime in 2023.
