Ryan Reynolds Tells Fans to Stay Away From His Green Lantern Movie

With all the talk about HBO Max's Green Lantern series, many are hoping that it will become so good that people forget about the 2011 Green Lantern film starring Ryan Reynolds. Sure, there are some fans who might defend the movie once in a while but for the most part, you're going to see people who say mean things about it. One of those people is Ryan Reynolds himself, who has advised people to stay away from the film, even though it's really cheap right now.

Apparently, it's only $0.99 on Apple TV, which might sound like a good deal but Reynolds has told the fan who tagged him to "walk away." That's a definitive way to tell somebody to not watch your movie, which continues to surprise me. Then again, when you remember that scene in Deadpool 2 where the character kills Reynolds, who had just received the Green Lantern script.

It might not be the worst movie ever but when you consider how Reynolds hadn't appeared in a lot of movies after the 2011 disaster, we can see why he's not so proud of it. Thankfully, the first Deadpool made Ryan Reynolds a star again and we're sure a third movie is on the way. We're sad that his Green Lantern film didn't work out but the HBO Max series should erase that from memory.
