The landscape of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is ever-evolving and it's quite evident that Phase Four marks the beginning of "changes" in the franchise.

Speaking of change, our favorite Merc with a Mouth Deadpool is one of the characters that will soon be entering the MCU, and despite the excitement from the majority of fans, some people can't help but feel apprehensive about the character's creative direction now that he's under the Disney banner.

Apparently, even Ryan Reynolds has his reservations about Deadpool's big MCU jump and it's evident during his press interview promoting his latest project Free Guy (via ComicBookMovie). Unsurprisingly, Reynolds is fully aware of how things are in the House of Mouse but as long as they'll be open to doing some pretty crazy stuff with Mr. Pool, then he'll have no problem getting back to work.

Ryan explains: "As long as Disney's open to doing some pretty wildly divergent or having some wildly divergent uses of Deadpool then I dig it, man. I think it's all great." Earlier in the interview, the Canadian star also shared that he'd be down to doing some cameos in another MCU project before Deadpool's third solo film.

There's no denying that Deadpool will be a fish out of water when he officially enters Earth-6161 and it'll be interesting to see how the beloved Marvel anti-hero would thrive in Disney's "family-friendly" environment. But with Kevin Feige assuring fans that the project will still retain its R-rating, then the fourth-wall-breaking hero will be in good hands. It also helps that Reynolds is allowed creative freedom with the character as he's reportedly one of the writers for the third film.

Marvel Studios' Deadpool 3 is under development.
