Russo Brothers Release Open Letter Urging Fans to Not Spoil Avengers: Endgame

Avengers: Endgame is almost here, but just like other films, some leaks and spoilers have managed to make their way online. Marvel Studios is trying their best to keep everything on a tight lid, and now Endgame directors the Russo Brothers have released an open letter urging fans not to spoil the film.

Here's the post:

To the greatest fans in the world,

This is it. This is the end. The end of an unprecedented narrative mosaic spanning eleven years and eleven franchises.

For all of you who have been on this journey with us since the very beginning, sharing every high and low with your family, your friends, your classmates, your co-workers. Investing so deeply in every character and storyline. Laughing. Cheering. Shedding tears. Giving so freely of our thoughts and emotions in spirited dialogue, theories, fan art, and fan fiction. Please know that the two of us, along with everyone involved in ‘Endgame,' have worked tirelessly for the last three years with the sole intention of delivering a surprising and emotionally powerful conclusion to the Infinity Saga.

"Because so many of you have invested your time, your hearts, and your souls into these stories, we're once again asking for your help

When you see ‘Endgame' in the coming weeks, please don't spoil it for others, the same way you wouldn't want it spoiled for you.

Remember, Thanos still demands your silence.

As always, good luck and happy viewing…

For now, a majority of the film has managed to keep itself in the shadows, but there is some leaked footage out there which is said to spoil a good part of the film. While Marvel does have its own tactics to defend against spoilers—even purposefully altering footage—I'm sure there are some trolls there who have fun spoiling it for everyone. Some have even gone so far as to avoid the internet completely until the movie comes out.

After the events of Infinity War, the Russos have left a massive audience at the edge of their seat just waiting to see what comes next after a mass genocide. We know that the Avengers will eventually save the day, but I'm just hoping the movie gives us some time to really sit in the consequences of failure—maybe even give us a big sacrifice when it comes to reverse what happened.
