Revisit Game of Thrones Season 2 With A Clash of Kings Collector's Edition

There is little doubt that the second season of Game of Thrones had some of the best episodes in the show's history. So why not revisit your favorite moments in Season 2? The new collector's edition of George R.R. Martin's A Clash of Kings has just been unveiled and it's a bittersweet walk down memory lane.

The Folio Society has released the second special edition of its ongoing reprint of A Song of Ice and Fire and A Clash of Kings does not disappoint. It's filled with gorgeous illustrations including the death of Renly Baratheon in Brienne of Tarth's arms, the fateful moment when Jon Snow almost kills Ygritte, and of course, the Battle of Blackwater.

The novel itself has been split into two books to allow a tremendous amount of illustrations. You can check the Folio Society website to order the collector's edition now.

A Clash of Kings was adapted in the second season of Game of Thrones, which covered the events after the death of Robert Baratheon. Although Joffrey Baratheon has taken over as the King of Westeros, Robert's brothers Stannis and Renly also vie for the Iron Throne. Meanwhile, Daenerys Targaryen ends up in Qarth where she is taken prisoner by the warlocks.

The ongoing reprint of A Song of Ice and Fire is expected to include Martin's new books The Winds of Winter and A Dream of Spring. However, the author is still hard at work on the sixth novel so it may take some time before we get a special edition.
